I instructed wright and wright to list my property in July 2018. The owner, Gary, is a very good sales man, in the respect that he promises so much but delivers very little. Yes my house sold, but it wasn’t without it’s difficulties. For starters he over estimated and didn’t promote, so for the first 2 months I had 2 viewings. I then instructed them to reduce the price, and this seemed to work in order to get people round. Not once did I see Gary, even though I was told he would be doing the viewings, and not once on any of the viewings did I receive any feedback. On one occasion I had someone knock on the door and ask to view, they had been trying to speak to the estate agent however whenever they rang, no one answered. During the whole time the house was on the market, I never once heard anything from Wright and Wright, I received no letters to say about how my property was being viewed online (which was promised). I accepted an offer after 3 months of my property being listed. And it took 7 weeks from that date for the board on my house to be changed to sold. For the money they charge, I would not recommend wright and wright, they promise so much and don’t deliver. It was myself constantly chasing, it was myself that ended up having to ring around to find out what was happening, considering moving house is suppose to be one of the most stressful things to do, choose a company that is going to help in reduce the stress and not add to it like Wright and Wright will do.

23 May 2019Dear Misty911 It has been a pleasure to help you move which as you stated was within an acceptable timeframe, I have checked the file and it appears your main concerns seem to be over viewings etc and lack of feedback. Viewings in the most part were carried out by either myself (very good sales person) or other members of my team. It was myself in fact who showed your buyer around and negotiated the sale for you. You received a 3D floor plan and right move premium advertising at no additional cost to yourself, we also were on a rolling weekly contract so if you had been dissatisfied at the marketing stage you could have simply changed adverts with no cost to yourself. We didn't mark the board as SSTC until the survey had been carried out, as this is company policy, and helps keep enquiries coming in until we are confident the sale is progressing. The issue with feedback seems to be more relating to the actual sale, and yes it did take longer to conclude than we would have expected, and we constantly chased your buyer and updated you, it was no surprise the agent was calling you doing the same job we were doing with your buyer, which is in essence actually your legal representatives job. Thank you for your business and sorry you feel you didn't get value for money, I feel you did and its a shame you gave us this review, many other people love our service and have done for the last 28 years.
